I collected random paint chips at Lowes, and took them to a favorite nature reserve.  As I walked I paid attention to the landscape and which colors felt potent in relation to places on the trail.  Then I marked those points with the appropriate chips, which added poetic significance by providing a title to the …

Guerrilla Girls

Anonymous women who use the pseudonyms of dead women artists to challenge hegemony in the art world. The group began in 1984 as a response to The Museum of Modern Art’s exhibit An International Survery of Painting and Sculpture where 100% of the artists exhibited were white and less than 8% were women.
